  • Step 1:

    Each candidate must complete our initial application form via the website located below when interested in a position with Alfie and Co.

  • Step 2:

    After the application is completed, each candidate will meet with a team member virtually or in person to discuss experience as well as available positions.

  • Step 3:

    Once completing the application and interview, candidates will undergo our background screening process. This ensures that candidates and family clients are equally protected.

  • Step 4:

    After completing all previous steps, the candidate will be contracted to a position and be invited to an in person meeting with the clients.

Q&A

CAN MY CHILD ACCOMPANY ME?

No, due to a variety of safety and legality concerns, Alfie and Co does not allow children to attend or accompany you in the workplace.

WHAT CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED?

We require CPR and First Aid certifications for our childcare providers. After three months, we do provide a reimbursement with proof of purchase and completion.

What RESPONSIBILITIES do i have as a Childcare provider?

Each family client is different and may have different needs and wants for their children and home. However, we work with you to ensure we find positions with responsibilities that you are comfortable upholding. Some responsibilities may include basic infant or childcare, feedings, activity planning, transportation to extracurricular outings and local events, and light housekeeping.

HOW MANY POSITIONS CAN I APPLY FOR?

Candidates are considered for all open positions until the point of becoming contracted to your perfect family match.

DO I have to complete a background check?

Yes, all childcare providers may undergo a rigorous background screening process and the provider may be drug tested throughout their career with us.

HOW LONG OF A COMMITMENT MUST I MAKE?

Our childcare providers are typically committed to positions with us for a minimum of one year, unless offered a temporary or occasional position.

ARE FEES OWED TO OR TAKEN OUT OF MY PAY?

Yes, small percentage based fees are taken out of your pay to ensure our responsibility to your happiness and success in your career. We ensure to find positions for you and work alongside you.
